Your Key to School Success #studentsuccess
You’ve set the mindset. You’ve made the plan. Now comes the part that actually keeps you moving: your routines. In this video, I break down why successful students don’t rely on motivation — they build a repeatable week that keeps them organised, focused and moving towards their goals. The right routines help you: stay on top of your work reduce stress and last-minute panic build discipline and resilience recover when things don’t go to plan keep making progress, even when motivation disappears You don’t need a perfect week. You need a repeatable week — one you can do again, build on and improve. Because discipline at school isn’t about making your life harder. Discipline gives you freedom. Build the routine. Trust the process. Keep going. #parents #studytips #studymotivation #schoolroutine #studentmindset #studyskills

Why Hard Work Isn’t Enough at School Anymore #EducationIn2026
Many students work hard — and still feel stuck. In this video, I explain why effort doesn’t always lead to improvement, and I share three research-informed learning tools that help turn hard work into real progress. This channel exists to support students through the academic year, one clear and practical idea at a time — without hype, shortcuts, or pressure. If you’re a student who’s revising but not seeing results, a parent supporting learning at home, or a teacher interested in how learning actually improves, this video is designed to help. Why You Can’t Focus (And the Simple System to Fix It) #studytips
If you feel like your focus is worse than it used to be, you’re not lazy — you’re living in a world that trains constant switching. In this video, I’ll show you how to rebuild focus endurance with a simple, research-informed system: A.T.T. = Audit, Train, Turn • Audit: spot your “switch points” (when you usually lose focus) • Train: build endurance with a short Focus Ladder (10 → 15 → 20 → 25 minutes) • Turn: turn down distractions and turn up friction so deep work becomes the default Student challenge: Tonight, do one 10-minute focus block. Label the “switch urge.” Stay for 30 more seconds. That’s a rep. Repeat tomorrow. Parent note: this isn’t about policing phones — it’s about helping students design an environment where deep work is possible. #Focus #StudyTips #StudySkills #DeepWork #Productivity #HighSchool #Revision #Learning #Concentration #Distraction #TimeManagement #Procrastination #ReadingSkills #ExamPrep #StudentLife

Why You ACTUALLY Procrastinate (And The S.O.S. Method That Fixes It)
You're not lazy. You're not broken. You just don't understand how procrastination ACTUALLY works — and that changes today with the S.O.S. Method. THE S.O.S. METHOD: → SPOT the signal (catch it early) → OWN the real problem (dig deeper) → START with 2-minutes (outsmart your brain) This isn't about discipline. It's about understanding the pattern and interrupting it before it takes over. I've used this with hundreds of students — it works. How to Take Notes That Turn Into Marks (RAW Method) #studytips
Most students don’t have a “note-taking” problem. They have a note-using problem. If your notes don’t turn into answers, arguments, and marks, they’re basically decoration. In this video I teach my RAW Notetaking Method — a simple system designed for exam students (IB, IGCSE, and beyond): ✅ R — Record: capture only what matters ✅ A — Action: convert notes into tasks ✅ W — Weapon: turn it into a weapon for exams By the end, you’ll know exactly how to turn every lesson, reading, and revision session into something you can actually use under pressure. If you’re heading into exams, this is one of the highest-leverage study upgrades you can make. #Notetaking #StudyTips #Revision #ExamPrep #IB #IBDP #IBEnglish #IBEnglishA #IBLangLit #IGCSE #StudentSuccess #ActiveRecall #SpacedRepetition #StudyMotivation #LearningStrategies #AcademicWriting #EssayWriting #Productivity #StudyHacks #RAWMethod

Why Do Top Students Improve Faster Than Everyone Else? #studyskills
Why do some students improve so quickly while others stay stuck even when they work hard? In this video, I break down one of the biggest differences: top students learn at the edge of their ability. They use metacognition to identify the gap, work on weakness deliberately, and improve faster because they study with direction. This is for serious students, supportive parents, and teachers who want to understand what real progress actually looks like. #topstudents #metacognition #studysmarter #learninghowtolearn #studentsuccess #revisiontips #exampreparation #schoolsuccess #futurereadyeducation
